Regal Petroleum Reports Decline In Gas Production From Ukraine Fields

LONDON (Alliance News) - Regal Petroleum PLC on Thursday published the first-half results for its Mekhediviska-Golotvshinska and Svyrydivske gas and condensate fields in Ukraine, showing a slight decline in daily output compared to 2014.

The company said its average gas production from the fields in the six months to the end of June was 145,009 cubic metres per day of gas, with 45 cubic metres per day of condensate and 20.4 cubic metres per day of liquefied petroleum gas production. It said this represented 1,291 barrels of oil equivalent per day in aggregate.

No comparable figures were provided. However, in May, the company said the comparable figures for all of 2014 were 152,744 cubic metres per day of gas, 52 cubic metres per day of condensate and 21 cubic metres per day of liquefied petroleum gas production. It said this represented 1,370 barrels of oil equivalent per day in aggregate for 2014.

Regal shares were untraded Thursday, having last traded at 5.18 pence.
