LONDON (Alliance News) - Regal Petroleum PLC on Thursday announced a two senior management changes, including the decision to move Non-Executive Director Bruce Burrows to the executive role of finance director.
Shares in Regal were marginally higher at 39.81 pence in late afternoon trade.
Burrows' appointment as finance director was effective from Wednesday and aligns with his previous experience as finance director of JKX Oil & Gas PLC four 14 years until 2011, followed by a number of comparable senior financial management positions at AITEO Group, Lekoil Ltd and Seven Energy International Ltd.
In addition, Oleksiy Zayets - who joined oil and gas explorer Regal in 2018 in an interim capacity - has been appointed as chief financial officer of Regal's Ukrainian operations.
Regal Chief Executive Sergii Glazunov said: "I am pleased to welcome both Bruce and Oleksiy to the executive management of the Regal. With the excellent progress in the development of our gas and condensate fields in Ukraine, and the significant growth in our revenues and cash flows, we are very pleased to strengthen the financial management within our business with executives of the calibre of Bruce and Oleksiy."
