LONDON (Alliance News) - RedT Energy PLC on Monday said its Camco Clean Energy subsidiary has been appointed to work on renewable energy projects in Africa.
Camco has won a five-year deal to mange the Renewable Energy Performance Platform, a programme set up with the backing of the European Investment Bank and the United Nations Environment Programme to back African renewable energy projects.
Camco will provide technical assistance, help to de-risk projects and facilitate access to debt providers.
RedT Energy shares were up 6.6% to 9.59 pence.
