Redde Set To Beat Market Expectations, To Pay Special Dividend

29th Jun 2015 06:59

LONDON (Alliance News) - Motor support-services company Redde PLC on Monday said it looks set to beat market expectations for the full year after robust trading conditions continued in the fourth quarter, prompting it to declare a special dividend.

Redde said trading in the final quarter of its financial year to the end of June was in line with the good performance in the first nine months of the year and it said its operating results before exceptional items are set to exceed the upper end of market expectations.

The company also said it will pay a special dividend of 1 pence per share at the end of July, in addition to its final dividend of no less than 4 pence per share, which will make its total dividend for the year at least 8 pence per share, excluding the special payout. Last year, Redde paid out a total of 6.85 pence per share.
