LONDON (Alliance News) - Motor support services company Redde PLC said on Thursday it has made a good start to its financial year and said trading profit is ahead of its expectations.
In a statement to be given as its annual general meeting, Redde Chairman Avril Palmer-Baunack said the company has performed well since the start of its financial year in July, with sales higher in the first quarter to the end of September due to stronger trading volumes and contract wins.
As a result, the company's trading profit is ahead of its expectations so far this year, and the early indications are this trend will continue, leaving Redde confident on its prospects for the full year.
Shares in Redde were up 2.4% to 179.00 pence on Thursday.
