(Alliance News) - Redde PLC said Wednesday that Non-Executive Director John Davies has agreed to take on the role of chair on an interim basis with effect on Thursday.
He will be replacing Avril Palmer-Baunack, who gave a three month-notice in May, on the grounds of having other existing time commitments.
Davies has been Non-Executive Director at Redde for eight years since 2011, and his most recent executive role was as managing director of Lloyds TSB's Asset Finance division for six years until 2006.
Redde said the process to identify and appoint a permanent chair is ongoing.
Shares in the automobile services provider closed 0.4% higher at 114.4 pence on Wednesday in London.
