15th May 2014 09:50

LONDON (Alliance News) - Redcentric PLC said Tuesday it has signed a three-year contract with The Salvation Army worth approximately GBP1.5 million to provide a full Wide Area Network to connect the charity's staff.

The UK IT managed services provider said the three-year deal with the UK charity has an approximate value of GBP1.5 million, with annual revenues of approximately GBP400,000 thereafter.

The contract, awarded following a tender process, will see Redcentric provide The Salvation Army with a full Wide Area Network system which will deliver network services to over 1000 locations from which the charity operates.

The contract will enable the charity's staff to connect to a high performance MPLS network providing secure access to internal services, but also providing services for the community using a variety of corporate systems and safe internet access, said Redcentric.

Shares in Redcentric were trading 2.16% lower at 113.00 pence per share Thursday morning.
