LONDON (Alliance News) - Red Rock Resources PLC on Tuesday said a new hearing on its Mid Migori Mining case in Kenya has been scheduled for January 2016.
Red Rock and Mid Migori are currently locked in battle over the termination of licences in Kenya.
The hearing scheduled for this week took place, but the respondents from the Kenyan government did not file a replying affadavit or any pleadings and sought additional time to comply with the court's rulings.
A new hearing has been set for January 27, 2016.
"In Kenya, the company continues to feel confident in the strength of its case, and regrets the inordinate delays caused by the continuing failure to challenge its application,"
Red Rock shares were up 4.0% to 0.0208 pence on Tuesday.
