Reconstruction Capital II Net Asset Value Rises 7.8% During First Half

22nd Aug 2014 08:43

LONDON (Alliance News) - Reconstruction Capital II Ltd said Friday its net asset value rose 7.8% over the six months to June 30.

The closed-end investment company said its net asset value on June 30 was EUR0.3542 per share, compared with EUR0.3287 per share on December 31, 2013.

It said the increase in the NAV was mainly due to a 40% increase in the Albalact SA share price over the first quarter, as well as the receipt of EUR 1.5 million of dividends from the Top Factoring Group.

The company said total investment gain in the six month period was EUR3.6 million, compared with EUR1.9 million in the first half of 2013.

Its pretax profit in the first-half was EUR2.5 million, compared with just EUR23,872 profit last year.

Shares in the company were untraded Friday at EUR0.115 per share.
