LONDON (Alliance News) - Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC on Wednesday appointed former Dun & Bradstreet Corp boss Sara Mathew as non-executive director of the FTSE 100-listed maker of Dettol antiseptic, Strepsils throat medicines and Durex condoms.
Mathew will join RB from the start of July. Between 2010 and 2013, Mathew served as chief executive officer of credit analyst and data services firm Dun & Bradstreet. Prior to this, she had served as chief financial and then chief operating officer at D&B since 2002.
Prior to D&B, she had been finance chief at the baby care and paper products business of New York-listed consumer goods firm Procter & Gamble Co.
RB Chair Chris Sinclair said he was "delighted" Mathew was joining the firm.
"She has extensive experience with consumer goods products, digital technologies and healthcare and has led strategic and digital transformations," Sinclair added. "Sara will bring great insight to the board and we welcome her appointment."
Shares in RB were 0.1% lower at 6,190.00 pence on Wednesday.
