LONDON (Alliance News) - Real Good Food PLC on Thursday said it has opened new global headquarters for food technology, innovation and cake decoration skills in Liverpool.
The ingredients and baking products company said the Liverpool Development Centre and Academy will serve as an international hub for food manufacturing innovation and cake decoration skills training.
The development centre will allow it to test emerging technologies in ingredients, processes and packaging, while the academy will be used to train and develop students and industry professionals in the latest cake decoration techniques.
The site also will house Real Good Food's human resources, technical and operations teams.
"We are always looking for ways to be innovative, and the Real Good Food Liverpool Development Centre is a place where our experts can explore, create, teach and learn with some of the best equipment in the world. There is a growing global market for our products, and we want customers to be inspired to bake at home with our top of the range, creative ingredients," Executive Chairman Pieter Totte said in a statement.
Shares in Real Good Food were up 0.5% on Thursday morning at 39.70 pence.
