(Alliance News) - Cake decoration and food ingredients maker Real Good Food PLC on Thursday said it has appointed Gail Lumsden as an independent non-executive director of the company with immediate effect.
Lumsden, over the past 20 years, has held senior roles at drinks company Diageo PLC in strategy, finance and business development, taking the lead in several major merger deals. More recently, she served at SABMiller as group strategy director.
"On behalf of the company, I am delighted to welcome Gail to the board. Her extensive experience in developing strategies will undoubtedly prove to be very useful and will add significant value to the company. I look forward to working with her as we continue to improve the group's performance," Real Good Food Chair Mike Holt said.
Real Good Food shares were down 4.5% at 6.33 pence each in London on Thursday afternoon.
