LONDON (Alliance News) - Real Estate Credit Investments Ltd on Friday said it has raised GBP78 million to invest in debt secured by commercial or residential properties in the UK and Western Europe.
The investment firm said it issued 45.9 million shares at a price of 170 pence each.
Real Estate Credit Investments shares were trading 0.6% lower on Friday at 171.89p each, giving it a market capitalisation of GBP263.5 million.
Liberum Capital Ltd was sole bookrunner to the placing. Following the admission, the company will have 199.2 million shares overall.
"The board is grateful for the support of existing and new investors as we seek to expand the company's shareholder base and further enhance liquidity, with Real Estate Credit Investments's post placing market capitalisation exceeding GBP340 million," said Chair Bob Cowdell.
