(Alliance News) - React Group PLC shares rose sharply on Thursday morning, as it announced a new five-year contract with existing customer, the ExtraCare Charitable Trust.
React's shares jumped 20% to 2.04 pence each in London on Thursday morning.
The Swadlincote, England-based specialist cleaning and decontamination company was awarded the contract with the over 55s housing operator, and will provide facility management services.
The contract is worth a minimum of GBP1.0 million, and will begin in April 2022.
React has said there is potential to gain further revenue from the contract, with specialist reactive services to the customer.
Chief Executive Officer Shaun Doak commented: "This major contract award demonstrates progress with the Group's strategic vision and expertise in developing market leading cleaning and facilities management solutions covering both recurring maintenance and on-demand specialist cleaning services."
