Reach4entertainment Hires CEO For Dewynters As Co-Founder Resigns (ALLISS)

4th Mar 2016 09:19

LONDON (Alliance News) - reach4entertainment enterprises PLC on Friday named James Charrington as the chief executive officer of Dewynters Ltd, the company's live entertainment marketing and advertising agency in London.

Charrington will succeed Bob King, who will continue to work as a creative consultant to Dewynters until August 31, on April 11.

Meanwhile, Anthony Pye-Jeary, co-founder of Dewynters, has decided to leave the company at the end of May.

Charrington began his career in arts marketing at Dewynters in 1989. In 2002, he started the advertising agency Koenig Englaender in Hamburg. In 2014, he set up Jampot Consulting Ltd. r4e said it has entered a deal to acquire Jampot, subject to completion of due diligence.

"The board of r4e believes the IP in digital marketing that Jampot can bring will be beneficial to the group and add to its service offering," the company said.

r4e will pay for Jampot by issuing 3.7 million new shares at 1.5p per share, worth about GBP55,000, which would represent about 0.77% of the current shares it has in issue.

Shares in Reach4entertainment were up 4.2% at 1.67p on Friday.
