Raspberry Pi CFO Richard Boult to step down in 2026

31st Oct 2025 09:51

(Alliance News) - Raspberry Pi Holdings PLC on Friday said Chief Financial Officer Richard Boult will step down from his role in the second half of 2026 to "explore new challenges," with a formal search for his successor now underway.

The Cambridge, England-based maker of personal-use computers and modules said Boult will assist in the recruitment process to ensure an orderly succession.

He joined Raspberry Pi in 2019 and played a role in supporting its June 2024 IPO on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market.

Chair Martin Hellawell said Boult had been "a key part of the team that has delivered tremendous growth," adding that his leadership was pivotal to establishing "key strategic and financial relationships" ahead of the listing.

Chief Executive Eben Upton praised Boult's "invaluable contribution" to the company's growth during a period of significant industry change, noting that his "deep insights and experience were key to our successful IPO."

Boult said: "It has been an amazing experience, and I am proud to have been part of everything that Raspberry Pi has achieved since I joined in 2019. I look forward to supporting the company over the next year and enabling a smooth transition to a new CFO."

Shares in Raspberry Pi were up marginally at 360.77 pence in London on Friday morning.
