LONDON (Alliance News) - Rare Earth Minerals PLC on Friday said Macarthur Minerals Ltd has applied for a further exploration licence in Australia.
Macarthur, in which Rare Earth holds a 15.5% stake, has made an application for an additional exploration licence in the Eastern Pilbara region of Western Australia in order to expand its lithium project in the area.
The licence area will be expanded to 1,084 square kilometres if the licence is granted.
Rare Earth shares were up 7.9% to 0.507 pence.
