Rare Earth Minerals Partner Shows New Metal Resources In Mexico

LONDON (Alliance News) - Rare Earth Minerals PLC Tuesday said its partner Bacanora Minerals Ltd has released new alkali metal and alkali earth metal inferred resources for the Fleur-El Sauz Concessions in northern Mexico.

The rare metals and minerals projects investment company said previously Lithium analysed core samples were re-analysed by ALS Global using different methods in order to achieve a definition of alkali values for selected elements, magnesium, potassium, rubidium, strontium and cesium.

The study found that the lower clay unit shows significant enrichment in alkali metals in comparison to the upper clay unit at the site and the study will be used to declare a new inferred resource including all of the alkali metals.

The company said that if recoveries for these elements can be achieved it represents further economic potential at the Fleur-El Sauz Concessions.

Rare Earth Minerals shares were down 1.4% to 0.730 pence Tuesday.
