LONDON (Alliance News) - RapidCloud International PLC on Tuesday said it has signed a strategic partnership for the South East Asian market with Alibaba.com Singapore E-commerce Pvt Ltd, a unit of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group.
Under the partnership, RapidCloud, a cloud computing infrastructure provider, will be able to offer public cloud infrastructure, consulting, managed services, training and support from AliCloud, Alibaba's cloud computing division.
No financial details on the agreement were disclosed.
"We are delighted to be partnering with AliCloud, one of the market leaders in the global public cloud computing industry. The ability to offer our products globally and in China through AliCloud's platform will give us an opportunity to provide our services to a wider audience," said Raymond Chee, RapidCloud's managing director.
RapidCloud shares were up 18% to 41.00 pence, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share. The stock hit an intraday high of 48.00p at the open, just off its 52-week higher of 50.00p.
