LONDON (Alliance News) - Cloud computing company RapidCloud International PLC Monday said it has been awarded two contracts with a combined revenue value in excess of GBP1 million, which is expected to be recognised in the current financial year.
The software solutions provider said it has won a contract to assist with the development of a cloud management system with the national legislature of an unnamed country in Southeast Asia.
RapidClud said the new system will rapidly process large amounts of legislation data while providing members of the legislature easy access to required information such as documents, video, profiles and events through a single secure interface.
The core of the integrated legislation management system is being built on RapidCloud's in-house developed solutions, RapidSearch and PortalWeb, the company said.
RapidSearch is RapidCloud's 'big data' solution offering comprehensive reporting and data analysis of both structured and unstructured data. PortalWeb is RapidCloud's web portal building solution enabling the unified presentation of diverse information feeds.
In addition, the company has won a contract with a separate government-owned institution in Southeast Asia to deploy its recently launched cloud-based application programming interface, RapidAPI.
RapidAPI gateway solution streamlines the management and operation of applications whilst at the same time enhancing security and regulatory compliance. The company said the solution is ideal for organisations that are exposed to management and security challenges, such as governments and telecommunication businesses.
RapidCloud shares were quoted down 0.7% at 70.00 pence Monday morning.
