LONDON (Alliance News) - Rank Group PLC said Thursday that it has appointed a former senior executive of Experian PLC, William Floydd, as chief financial officer, effective November 12.
The bingo and gambling company also said that Interim CFO James Pizey will move to the role of group financial controller. Pizey assumed the finance head role on interim basis following departure of Clive Jennings in August.
"There is much to be done to deliver our transformational programme and I am confident that William Floydd is the right person to assist me and the leadership team in delivering a growing business that is fit for the future," Rank Chief Executive John O'Reilly said.
Floydd, who will be will be appointed to Rank's board in due course, most recently was finance head of Experian's UK & Ireland region until April. Prior to Experian, Floydd spent 12 years in a variety of leadership positions at Logica PLC, prior to its acquisition by CGI Group Inc.
Shares in Rank were 0.6% higher at 162.02 pence on Thursday.
