LONDON (Alliance News) - Rangers International Football Club PLC Tuesday said former owner Craig Whyte no longer has links to the company, following press allegations that he does.
The Glasgow-based football club said its lawyers, Pinsent Masons, have not reported to the police that Craig Whyte has any connections to the company after the BBC and other news organisations reported that police were investigating the claim.
The company also noted that former Chairman Malcolm Murray dismissed the allegations concerning Craig Whyte's supposed involvement with the club.
Rangers shares were largely flat Tuesday at 45.49 pence.
