LONDON (Alliance News) - Rangers International Football Club PLC on Tuesday said it has secured a venue to hold its upcoming extraordinary general meeting, having had its previous booking cancelled amid concerns of disturbance for other guests.
The club said it will hold the meeting at The Grange Tower Bridge Hotel in London on March 4.
Last week, the club was forced to find a new venue to hold the meeting after the Millennium Gloucester hotel said the meeting "cannot be managed without significant disruption to guests and neighbours".
Rangers is set to hold a board meeting to vote on proposals tabled by shareholder Dave King to remove the current board. Rangers said Tuesday its directors continue to recommend that shareholders vote against the resolutions.
