LONDON (Alliance News) - Ranger Direct Lending Fund PLC on Monday said it is planning to raise up to GBP30.0 million through a zero dividend preference shares offering.
Ranger invests in loans provided by primarily US direct-lending platforms, which offer an alternative source of finance to banks.
Ranger said it has been "actively considering ways of diversifying its capital base including considering issuing fixed return securities".
Following consultation with its investors, the company said it will now seek to raise up to GBP30.0 million through the ZDP issue.
It expects the fundraising to take place around the end of July.
