LONDON (Alliance News) - Range Resources Ltd on Friday said it appointed Mu Luo as non-executive director with immediate effect.
Luo is a senior oil and gas professional with 36 years' experience working for international exploration and production and oilfield services companies, Range explained.
He is currently a development geophysicist at Inpex Corp. Prior to that, he held principal roles with other firms including Japan Petroleum Exploration Co Ltd, and Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corp.
Luo is an Australian resident which satisfies the requirement for the company to have two Australian resident directors on its board under the Australian Corporations Act. As a result, the company expects trading of its shares on the Australian Stock Exchange to resume "shortly".
Range shares on the London Stock Exchange were trading up 2.9% at 0.028 pence each on Friday.
