LONDON (Alliance News) - Rambler Metals & Mining PLC on Wednesday said Andre Booyze will replace Norman Williams as chief executive with immediate effect.
The company, which owns the Ming copper-gold mine in Canada, said outgoing chief executive Williams will assist with the transition before he leaves to "pursue other interests".
Booyze most recently served as executive director at Mandalay Resources Australia Pty Ltd. He managed Mandalay Resources' Costerfield mine in Australia.
Earlier in March, Rambler appointed former Mandalay Resources executive Sanjay Swarup as chief financial officer.
Swarup, a chartered accountant, also previously worked at BP PLC and Lonmin PLC. He replaced Tim Slater as finance head at Rambler.
Shares in Rambler were down 8.9% at 1.48 pence on Wednesday afternoon.
