LONDON (Alliance News) - Rambler Metals & Mining PLC on Wednesday said it has appointed Sanjay Swarup to the position of chief financial officer with immediate effect.
Rambler shares were trading 13% higher at 1.75 pence each on Wednesday.
Swarup is a chartered accountant with over 25 years experience in accounting and business consulting, 15 of which in the resource industry, the company said.
Swarup has worked with a range of businesses, such as BP PLC, Mandalay Resources and Lonmin PLC.
Tim Slater, the previous CFO, will assist with the transition of responsibilities before leaving the company to pursue other interests.
