(Alliance News) - Fashion retailer Quiz PLC on Friday said it will temporarily close its online offering and suspend operations in its distribution centre.
The company had closed its high street stores on Saturday "in order to ensure the health and wellbeing of its store staff and customers" due to Covid-19.
Quiz said on Friday: "Having taken feedback from the group's employees working at Quiz's distribution centre, and in order to prioritise their safety and wellbeing, the board has now taken the decision to temporarily close its online operations until further notice. Quiz's websites will temporarily close from later today, with the distribution centre closing within the next 24 hours.
Shares in the company closed 9.1% lower at 5.00 pence each in London on Friday.
