Quixant Sees No Reason For Its Share Price Increase Since Friday

23rd Oct 2013 14:05

LONDON (Alliance News) - Quixant PLC, a provider of computing platforms for casino gaming and slot machine applications, said Wednesday afternoon that it is not aware of any reason for the rise in its share price since Friday.

Quixant shares were quoted at 115.00 pence Wednesday afternoon, down 5.50 pence or 4.6%. Earlier in the day, they hit a new high of 133.90 pence, up 26% from 106.00 pence on Friday. Quixant listed on AIM in May.

In September, Quixant reported a lower profit for the first-half after the previous year's result was lifted by a property disposal gain and it booked the cost of listing on AIM. But revenues rose slightly and it said it is confident of meeting its full-year expectations.
