Quindell Switches Auditor To Prepare For Proposed Main Market Listing

3rd Oct 2013 08:27

LONDON (Alliance News) - Quindell Portfolio PLC Thursday said it has appointed KPMG LLP as its new auditor ahead of its proposed move to the London Stock Exchange main market from AIM.

Quindell, a technology outsourcing company which counts AON, Aviva and AXA amongst its customers, said Baker Tily Audit Limited had resigned as auditor with immediate effect.

"As previously stated at the time of announcing our interim results, [we intend] to move to the full list at the appropriate time, which is considered to be at the point of reporting the full year results for 2013 in March 2014," Rob Terry, founder and executive chairman of Quindell, said in a statement.

Will Smith, a partner of KPMG, said the March 2014 target was feasible, though challenging because of the concurrent plans to publish the company's full-year results.

Quindell shares were Thursday quoted at 15.88 pence, up 0.38 pence, or 2.4%.
