LONDON (Alliance News) - The Quarto Group Inc on Tuesday said it is on track to meet its full year expectations as revenue in the third quarter rose slightly year-on-year.
The publishing house said revenue for the three months to September 30 was USD54.5 million, up from USD54.2 million a year earlier. Underlying revenue in the quarter rose 5.3%, it said.
Publishing revenue rose 4.8% to USD41.8 million, while Books & Gifts Direct revenue was up 13.5%.
In the nine months to the end of September, revenue was USD120.1 million, slightly down on the USD126.3 million posted a year earlier.
The company said that based on current trading, it expects to meet expectations for the year.
Quarto shares were up 1.4% on Tuesday to 143.5 pence.
