(Alliance News) - Quadrise Fuels International PLC said Wednesday it has promoted Chief Operating Officer Jason Miles as chief executive officer with effect on February 1.
He will be succeeded in his former role by Head of Projects Mark Whittle, while Chair Mike Kirk will remain in his role.
Miles has been part of the heavy fuel oil alternative producer for 13 years since 2006, and Whittle for five years since 2015.
Looking ahead, Quadrise said it is ready to transition into new commercial ventures, following a successful fundraising and establishment of new relationships in 2019 in line with its new strategy.
"Along with the secured funding now in place we have a firm foundation for growth and the board took the view that this was the right time to further develop the senior management team through the promotion of Jason to CEO and Mark to COO," Kirk said.
"I have worked closely with Jason since joining Quadrise and during the last two years have also worked increasingly closely with Mark, both of whom have been integral to the recent business development initiatives which culminated in the recently announced trial in Morocco," Kirk added.
Shares in Quadrise - which is based in London - were up 2.3% at 2.86 pence on Wednesday.
