LONDON (Alliance News) - Quadrise Fuels International PLC said Tuesday that former Standard Chartered PLC chair and BP PLC executive Bryan Sanderson will join the oil technology firm as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Sanderson served as chair at FTSE 100-listed bank Standard Chartered between 2003 and 2006. This followed a long career at blue chip oil & gas giant BP at which he rose to become chief executive of BP Chemicals between 1990 and 2000 when he retired.
"We are delighted that Bryan has joined the board of QFI, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge, experience and connections from over 35 years as a senior executive and having served on the boards of some of the UK's most prominent businesses," Quadrise Executive Chair Mike Kirk said.
"His depth of knowledge within the energy, chemicals and financial sectors will be invaluable for the business and having someone of Bryan's stature join Quadrise at this important time is a clear endorsement of the progress that we are making," Kirk added.
Shares in Quadrise were 0.9% lower at 3.25 pence on Tuesday at midday.
