LONDON (Alliance News) - Pure Wafer PLC said Thursday that it had undergone a strategic re-organisation of its board following a comprehensive review, including discussions with key shareholders, in order to maximise its growth opportunities.
The silicon-wafer reclaim services company said that Chief Executive Peter Harrington will step down and take up the role of executive chairman instead. Richard Howells, currently chief financial officer, will take up the chief executive role.
Current Non-Executive Chairman Stephen Boyd will step down, although he will stay on the board as a non-executive director.
The changes will come into effect on July 1st.
Shares in Pure Wafer were trading down 2.8% at 86.00 pence Thursday afternoon.
