(Alliance News) - Pulsar Helium Inc on Monday said it has completed drilling of the sixth Jetstream appraisal well at its Topaz project in Minnesota, and started to mobilise rigs for the seventh.
The company said that Jetstream 6 has been successfully drilled at a depth of 2,957 feet, or about 901 metres, encountering "multiple pressurised gas intervals and further supporting the Topaz geological model", while previously reported gas zones have been observed during the drilling phase.
Additionally, drilling has begun at Jeststream 7, targeting a depth of 3,000 feet, with the potential to deepen to 5,000 feet.
The Cascais, Portugal-based helium exploration and development firm also said it has completed the 2D seismic acquisition programme at the Topaz site, comprising five lines spanning approximately 41.5 miles.
Pulsar said it expects the results to enhance its structural understanding of the Topaz system, to refine the site's reservoir mapping, and to help optimise future appraisal and development drilling.
Pulsar Helium shares were up 1.6% to 82.79 pence each on Monday morning in London.
