LONDON (Alliance News) - FTSE 100-listed life insurer Prudential PLC on Monday said it has hired Penny James as its chief risk officer and an executive director, effective from September 1.
James is the former director of group finance at Prudential and led the company's Solvency II programme. She was also a member of the group executive risk committee.
She takes over from John Foley, who had taken on the chief risk officer in role in addition to his duties as group investment director following the departure of Pierre-Olivier Bouée.
Shares in Prudential were down 1.3% to 1,508.00 pence on Monday morning.
