(Alliance News) - Life insurance company Prudential PLC on Tuesday announced the appointment of Jeremy Anderson as a non-executive director and member of the company's risk and audit committees, effective from the start of next year.
Anderson currently serves as a non-executive director at UBS Group AG and chair of the Swiss investment bank's audit committee.
His previous roles include chair of global financial services at professional services firm KPMG and non-executive director of the UK Commission for Employment and Skills.
The UK Commission for Employment and Skills was a non-departmental public body that provided advice on skills and employment policy to the UK government and the devolved administrations.
Paul Manduca, chairman of Prudential, said: "Jeremy Anderson's distinguished career has given him considerable expertise in international financial services, particularly in audit and risk management. I am delighted that he is joining the board."
Shares in London-based Prudential were down 0.2% at 1,313.00 pence each on Tuesday in London
