LONDON (Alliance News) - Mobile payment services company Proxama PLC on Friday said it had won a new contract with the South African franchise of the Standard Bank of South Africa Ltd-owned Diners Club.
Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
Proxama said it will supply its Payment Application Manager, EMV Transaction Manager and Proxama PIN Manager products under the contract.
"This new contract win creates the opportunity for another long term partnership with an established and recognisable client, demonstrating our ability to bring new capabilities to the payment industry with substantial benefits for payment processors and their cardholders," said Patrick Regester, executive vice president of strategic accounts and partnerships at Proxama's Digital Payments Division.
Shares in Proxama were up 1.8% at 1.40 pence Friday morning.
