LONDON (Alliance News) - Mobile commerce company Proxama PLC on Monday said it has signed a deal with Eye Airports, an owner of airport advertising space in the UK.
The group's proximity marketing division, which provides proximity marketing services using Bluetooth beacons and near-field communication technology, has signed a commercial deal with Eye Airports to deliver location-based offers and promotions to consumers.
Under the first stage of the deal, Proxama will install an initial network of 200 Bluetooth beacons into advertising signage in eight airports in the UK, including London Gatwick. The deal is for a two-year period, and Proxama did not disclose any financial details on the agreement.
