LONDON (Alliance News) - Proxama PLC said Thursday that it provided a mobile digital proximity service during the recent Fifth Test cricket match between England and India, in conjunction with The Kia Oval venue.
The AIM-listed company said the service enabled spectators to access a range of exclusive content via "The KIA Oval" application during the event, with features ranging from interactive player profiles and live score feeds to a competition to win tickets to upcoming T20 cricket matches.
"As the first... Bluetooth Low Energy enabled app that Proxama has deployed for a stadia client, this initiative proves the positive impact the technology can offer all public spaces," said Proxama's Chief Commercial Officer, Miles Quitmann.
Shares in the technology company were trading 0.41% higher at 3.64 pence per share Thursday morning.
