Proxama Partners With HID Global

LONDON (Alliance News) - Proxama PLC said Wednesday it has partnered with HID Global to dually provide retailers and brand owners with web-based coupon and loyalty schemes.

Proxama, a platform provider of mobile proximity marketing, mobile wallet and payment services, said the partnership with HID, a secure identity service provider, will see their product offerings combined to give retailers and brands campaign analytics and consumer profile insights.

HID's Trusted Tag tool transmits a unique code every time a Near Field Communication tag is tapped, giving retailers the ability to provide a secure loyalty and coupon facility to consumers. This will be combined with Proxama's TapPoint platform for analytics. The tool generates a unique code each time a tag is tapped, meaning that rewards can only be collected once, improving security for retailers.

Neil Garner, CEO and founder of Proxama said, "Together with HID, we have been able to develop a solution which makes web-based reward schemes more secure for retailers. By offering this alternative solution to apps, loyalty and reward campaigns become much simpler for retailers and consumers alike."

Shares in Proxama were trading 2.22% lower Wednesday morning, at 7.70 pence per share.
