LONDON (Alliance News) - Provident Financial PLC announced Thursday that Non-Executive Director John Straw will be stepping down at the annual general meeting on May 20.
Straw, the financial services firm said, wishes to spent time on other commitments.
Chair Patrick Snowball commented: "I would like to thank John for the contribution he has made throughout his time with the company, bringing his experience to the issues faced by the company.
"On behalf of the board and all at Provident Financial Group, I wish him all the very best."
Shares were up 0.1% on Thursday at a price of 528.60 pence each.
