(Alliance News) - Provident Financial PLC on Friday said its chief executive will be taking a short leave of absence for a planned heart procedure.
The FTSE 250-listed doorstep lender said CEO Malcolm Le May will be absent from late September and is expected to return in November.
Chair Patrick Snowball will take on the role of executive chair during Le May's absence.
Shares in Provident were down 1.6% at 223.00 pence in London on Friday morning.
