(Alliance News) - Proton Motor Power Systems PLC on Tuesday said it has received an order worth over EUR500,000 from a new, undisclosed European customer.
The energy equipment provider said the new order, which is scheduled for delivery in May 2021, is for a hydrogen fuel cell system to be integrated into a mobility related application.
"We are delighted with this order as it further confirms the growing demand in the European mobility sector for hydrogen fuel cell solutions with a view to providing a clean energy source," said Proton Chief Executive Faiz Nahab.
In January, Proton secured a deal worth EUR400,000 to supply 45 fuel cell systems to bin collection trucks in Belgium as part of a EU sustainability project.
Shares in the Germany-based company were up 2.7% at 38.50 pence each on Tuesday afternoon in London.
