LONDON (Alliance News) - Proteome Sciences PLC said Monday it has placed 17.9 million new shares on the market to raise GBP5 million before expenses, with new and existing investors, which it will use for additional working capital.
The protein biomarker company said the shares were placed at a price of 28 pence per share, with Chief Executive Christopher Pearce having subscribed for 2.6 million of the shares in the placing.
Shares in Proteome Sciences were down 0.8% Monday morning, trading at 29.50 pence per share.
