LONDON (Alliance News) - ProPhotonix Ltd on Tuesday said it has broadened its range of products for the ultraviolet curing, printing and machine vision market with a new fan-cooled UV curing system.
ProPhotonix, which has operations in both Ireland and the UK, said it has launched COBRA Cure FX3, which it said is the "highest intensity air cooled product" in its UV family.
ProPhotonix said the model is scalable and offers surge protection, LED segment control and power control between 5.0% and 100%.
"The FX3 adds to our broad range of UV LED products providing more illumination options for our customers. Estimates are that market demand for UV LED systems will grow at nearly 40% per annum through 2019 to USD500.0 million. We are uniquely positioned to significantly participate in this high growth market and deliver ongoing enhancements to our customers," said Chief Executive and President Tim Losik.
Shares in ProPhotonix were up 10% at 3.17 pence on Tuesday morning.
