LONDON (Alliance News) - ProPhotonix Ltd said Thursday that it has launched a "highly uniform" panel light for machine vision applications at the Vision 2014 event in Stuttgart, Germany.
The company said that the product produces a highly uniform optical output with a modular form factor and is easily scalable, and has a wide range of applications in the machine vision industry for various types of inspection.
"ProPhotonix is seeing an ever increasing trend toward lighting solutions requiring customized hardware and software. Having in-house software expertise is an absolute necessity to achieve the uniformity, power, colour, and control specifications demanded by our customers. The new panel light is a great example of this hardware and software optimization," said Managing Director of ProPhotonix IRL Ltd Simon Stanley in a statement.
Last Thursday the company also launched a new line light for long working distance machine vision applications at the event.
Shares in ProPhotonix are untraded Thursday. It last traded at 2.75 pence.
