LONDON (Alliance News) - Proactis Holdings PLC said Tuesday it has won a deal with the UK government's GCloud V initiative, to provide spend control and eProcurement services directly to government, health and education organisations through the cloud.
Under the government's 'Cloud First' policy, public-sector organisations are required to evaluate cloud services before other technology services. Proactis has been chosen to join the GCloud framework after the evaluation of its services.
"I am very pleased to announce our newly awarded position on the framework, which illustrates the strength and effectiveness of our Cloud based software solutions and supports our organic growth strategy," said Chief Executive Rod Jones in a statement.
Shares in Proactis were trading up 2.0% at 50.00 pence Tuesday morning.
