LONDON (Alliance News) - Princess Private Equity Holding Ltd Tuesday said its net asset value per share increased by 2.8% in March, citing portfolio developments and currency movements.
In a statement, the private equity investor said its NAV amounted to EUR9.12 per share at the end of March, bringing its quarter-to-date performance to 6.3%.
Portfolio developments added 2.2% to the NAV per share, while currency movements added 1.3%.
"During the reporting period, Partners Group's value creation initiatives continued to bear fruit and several direct portfolio companies were written up based on positive results. The direct investments in VAT Vakuumventile and Action were amongst the largest contributors to NAV growth," Princess said in a statement.
VAT Vakuumventile is a high-end vacuum valve company, while Action is a Dutch discount retailer.
Princess said it received distributions of EUR8.9 million and invested EUR2.2 million in March.
Princess shares were up 0.9% at 8.05 pence on Tuesday morning.
