Princess Private Equity NAV Rises In April Helped By Portfolio Growth

LONDON (Alliance News) - Princess Private Equity Holding Ltd on Tuesday said its net asset value per share rose in April helped by positive portfolio developments and currency movements.

Net asset value increased 0.8% to EUR11.02 per share as at the end of April, compared with EUR10.93 reported at the end of March.

Shares in Princess Private Equity were trading 2.8% lower at 870.00 pence each on Tuesday.

The company said it saw a positive currency movements and a portfolio growth of 1.0% during the month.

Princess Private Equity invested a total of EUR1.6 million during April, the majority of which was allocated to liquid loans for liquidity management purposes, it said.

Distributions during April amounted to EUR3.7 million of which EUR3.0 million stemmed from the legacy fund portfolio.

The company also said that its investment adviser Partners Group and private equity investment firm Charlesbank Capital Partners agreed to buy the US bakery Hearthside Food Solutions. Princess said it will participate in the transaction which will close in the coming months.
